240 Siskins were seen to go north during the first hour of day light along with five Grey Wagtails, about 40 Meadow Pipits and 23 Swallows. However as the wind picked up all overhead movement ceased.
One the ground highlights included a fine male redstart in the Paddock, a male Black Redstart at Hope Point, two Spotted Flycatchers in the Gun Emplacement and two Stonechats.
The only warblers seen were 34 Chiffchaffs and six Blackcaps.
