A little overhead movement with a change in wind this morning. Small groups of Meadow Pipits were passing throughout the morning ( 230 counted), plus two Grey Wagtails, one Yellow Wagtail, one alba Wagtail,eight Redpoll, three Crossbills and the inevitable and inestimably number of Siskins.
grounded migrants included 52 Chiffchaffs, 51 Blackcaps, two Lesser Whitethroats, one Goldcrest and the first two Reed Buntings of the season.
