Very calm today, even the flag on the old Coastguard lookout post was not moving.
Today grounded birds included a Spotted Flycatcher, a Stonechat and, as usual with warblers predominating, 19 Blackcaps, three Lesser Whitethroats, six Whitethroats and 44 Chiffchaffs.
Other birds of note were a flock of 28 Great Black-Backed Gulls flying upchannel, three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Swift and two Ravens being bullied by the local Jackdaws.
Many Peacock Butterflies and a Clouded Yellow in the Paddock.
