We finished at the Freedown with a Redstart, Wheatear and two Whinchats.
Wildlife sightings from the Bockhill area. We are a small group of East Kent birders who have been enjoying wildlife in the St. Margaret's Bay and Kingsdown area of the White Cliffs since October 1994. Here you will find a record of the fauna and flora of this region of Kent.

Today we had an increase of warblers mainly in the Paddock and Granville area where there were 13 Blackcaps, 10 Whitethroats, six Lesser Whitethroats, seven Chiffchaffs and 12 Willow Warblers. Other notable birds were three Pied Flycatchers also in the Granville area, 65 Swallows feeding across the big field, a flock of Goldfinches that has been buiding up recently to 75 plus, a Tree Pipit, a Lapwing which is now a rarity for us and a flyover Whimbrel at Kingsdown.
