A short visit today without time to carry out any systematic counts although the usual suspects were still moving overhead namely Siskins, Meadow Pipits, Swallows and House Martins.
Of note were single Tree Pipits, Redstart, Stonechat and Whinchat plus a Firecrest in the Farm Wood in addition to the two local birds at Oldstairs.
There had clearly been a notable arrival of Chiffchaffs with 50 around the Paddock and Farm Wood.
