Good coverage today with most of the Bockhill regulars out in the field. Sadly birding was a bit of a struggle. Highlights included 92 Chiffchaffs, 27 Blackcaps, three Lesser Whitethroats, one Whitethroat, five Stonechats, one Whinchat, two Wheatears, two Black Redstarts and Hobby.
Overhead Siskins were still moving in big numbers with over 220 recorded although the number could have been considerably higher if only we could have seen most of them. Also going over, single Tree Pipit and one Yellow Wagtail, three Grey Wagtails plus 370 House Martins and 90 Swallows.
