The usual two species of warblers, 10 Blackcaps and 138 Chiffchaffs, were seen today and also firsts of Merlin,Ring Ouzel and Redwing for the Autumn. On the sea were 6 Razorbills(at the undercliff) and flying downchannel were 5 Brent Geese and 34 Common Scoters. Other notable birds included 6 Grey Partridges,9 Stonechats, a Wheatear, 2 Firecrests and 4 Bullfinches.
Moving SW overhead were 51 Skylarks, 10 Alba Wagtails, 45 Lesser Redpolls and 7 Reed Buntings.
